Charles Krebs Photomicrography Welcome. This site was created to be a place for me to share my passion for photomicrography -- the taking of photographs through a microscope. While I’ve been a photographer for many years, the microscope is a relatively new tool for me. In April of 2004, thanks to an eBay auction, I set up the first microscope I’ve used since my childhood. I have been completely hooked since that time. The arrival of digital photography, and the resources of the Internet are tremendous assets toward learning microscopy and the techniques of photomicrography. It is an ongoing process for me. The use of some innovative software products for extended depth-of-field techniques has allowed the creation of certain types of images that could only be dreamed of five or six years ago |
